A Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of Clarinda Community School District was held Wednesday, July 22, 2026, beginning at 7:30 AM in the McKinley Boardroom.
1. Call to Order
President Butt called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
3. Roll Call
The following Board members were present: President Butt, Boysen, Sunderman and Wyman. Absent: Hayes,

No visitors were in attendance.
5. Approval of Agenda
A motion was made by Boysen, seconded by Sunderman, to approve the agenda. Motion carried 4-0.
6. Consent Agenda Items
A motion was made by Wyman, seconded by Boysen, to approve the consent agenda items. Motion carried 4-0.
6.1 Approve Minutes of the July 8, 2026 Regular Meeting
6.2 Approve Bills
6.3 Approve Hires, Transfers, and Resignations
Hires: Cheyenne Sunderman, Assistant Cross Country Coach, effective the 2026-27 school year
Tasha Cole, Assistant Tennis Coach, effective the 2026-27 school year
Alyssa Pace, Color Guard, effective the 2026-27 school year
Transfers: none
Resignations: none
7. New Business
7.1 Discuss and Consider Approving the 2026-2027 Meal and Milk Prices
A motion was made by Wyman, seconded by Boysen, to approve the attached meal and milk prices for the 2026-2027 school year. Motion caried 4-0.
7.2 Discuss and Consider Approving the Auditorium Tower Panels
A motion was made by Wyman, seconded by Boysen, to approve the Rogge bid of $677,000 to replace the Jr/Sr High auditorium tower panels. Motion carried 4-0.
8. Meeting Announcements
8.1 A regular meeting will be on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at McKinley.

9. Adjournment
A motion was made by Boysen, seconded by Sunderman, to adjourn the meeting at 7:34 a.m. Motion carried 4-0.
