The board welcomes gifts to the school district from a class or student group.  While class gifts to the school district do not require the approval of the superintendent, the board encourages students to consult with the superintendent prior to selecting a gift for the school district.

In keeping with good community relations, CCSD-affiliated student activities, including meetings, practices, rehearsals, competitions or performances by student groups, teams or organizations, will not be scheduled past 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday night or on Sunday mornings before noon.  Exceptions must be approved by the CCSD School Board.

All CCSD-affiliated school activities will follow the exceptions agreed upon by the Hawkeye-10 Activity Directors.

It is the responsibility of the building principal and/or Activities Director to oversee compliance with this policy.
